We brought the show to Blackpool. Proud to have my image of Kate Yates on the invitation.
Fabulous video of the opening night made by Anna Paprzycka.
A little bit of background on how it all started and before we hung the show. There were four curators, Dawn Mander, Libby Nightingale, Kate Yates and Marianne van Loo.
We also arranged a number of photographers talks. I Skyped with Brooke, a female trucker, photographed by Anne Marie Michel. Vanessa Ansa from the RPS talks about her experience of the night and coming to visit us at Blackpool.
Dawn, Kate and Libby talking about the exhibition at HIVE.
Another submission through curatorspace. My images of Kate Yates got chosen to be displayed at gallery 44AD in Bath. The theme for submission was a (muse). (Although we were in the midst of preparations for #unframingblackpool, I managed to get set some prints sent of just in time for the exhibition in Bath. It opened on the 8th August till the 18th August.
The photograph of the murmurations did well this year, it was featured in Remington Review, at Liverpool art fair and finally in Brighton by UnderExposed in a public area.
