From 5th to the 19th October two of my images were on show at Gallery at Home with ShutterHub in Wales. One of Daisy as the girl with the pearl earring and one of Peter’s house.
On the ShutterHub blog: Over 200 images, 80 international photographers, 100+ private view guests, and over 30 print sales within the first 3 hours of the exhibition being launched. Not bad for a converted cow shed in rural Wales! On Saturday 05 October the beautiful Gallery at Home in Usk, Monmouthshire, lit up with smiles as guests poured into the gallery (and prosecco poured into their glasses) to view HOME, a powerful selection of photographic images from 80 generous photographers who have kindly donated their work in support of homelessness charities across the UK. I had two images in the exhibition.
In October I showed my self-published co-authored book ‘Lines of Gurgaon, portrait of a city’ at the Liverpool Book and Zine fair at Open Eye. Whilst I dropped the books off, I said hello to Tracy, I just met her recently as she opened Unframing Blackpool for us. Open Eye later offered to sell the book in their independent bookshop. My photographs of Daisy, based on paintings of Rembrandt were published in the Fall issue of Remington Review. I was one of the 365 monthly competition winners in the RPS Magazine with a photograph taken on Blackpool central pier.
The image of Shibuya crossing was chosen to be exhibited at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography for the exhibition entitled ‘City-Scapes’ (17th - 26th September).
